DAVAO CITY, Davao, PH
— A Cebu-based mall operator is opening a Gaisano Grand Mall branch here in Nabunturan town, Compostela Valley, Davao before the end of the year according to Mary Grace Castillon-Agusto, the company’s mall leasing manager for Mindanao.
Ms. Agusto also added that the company is looking for an expansion opportunities in other parts of Mindanao, and considering opening another branch in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur by December and in Calinan, Buhangin, Bayugan, Zamboanga, and Mati by next year.

Recently, Gaisano opened its 25th branch in Tibungco, Davao City. Aside from its branches in the Visayas, the Gaisano chain has two other branches in Davao City and Tagum City.
The Gaisanos also own the Grand Regal Hotel in the cities of Davao and Bacolod.
