The 23.4B Davao City Bypass is jointly funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the PH Government. Construction will start June 2019 and will be completed by 2022.
When completed, the 44.6 km by-pass road with a 2.28 km tunnel is expected to reduce travel time from Digos to Panabo from 1 hour and 44 minutes via Pan-Philippine Highway to only 49 minutes via Davao By-Pass Road.
