7-Eleven opens in Tagum City, Davao

TAGUM CITY, Davao — Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC) opened its first 7-Eleven convenience store here last week, this is the first store of 7-Eleven outside Davao City. It is located in the ground floor of  S&N Bldg., Sobrecary St. near the Arellano St and the University of Mindanao Tagum City campus. And there's more branches to open in the coming days in this progressive city.

Tagum City is part of the company's target market in Mindanao area. The economic developments of this city are very impressive.

This year, the company is focusing on the two most urbanized cities in the southern island with 30 stores planned for opening in Davao City in the south and 20 stores in Cagayan de Oro in the north.

The company plans to build 120 outlets within the next three years in Mindanao.

PSC President and Chief Executive Officer Jose Victor P. Paterno, in a press conference during the store opening of its first branch in Davao City, said these 50 outlets will be part of the company’s broader 350 to 400 target this year.
